Lina is a graduate of Notre Dame University in marketing management and is active in community development and resilience. Lina joined IS-CEM since its inception.
Sr. Engineer and Project Coordinator
Nicole has over 29 years of experience in civil engineering, value engineering, design optimization and constructability. She brings experience in exterior and interior remodeling helping clients with environmentally efficient solutions. She is a civil engineering graduate of the American University of Beirut, with practice across the Middle East. Nicole joined IS-CEM in 2025.
Founder and Sr. Subject Matter Expert
Michel is a university faculty and civil-structural engineering industry practitioner. He serves in senior positions in leading firms, develops innovative solutions, plans and manages resilience and reconstruction programs. Michel is a licensed PE and SE in California and multiple states, holds a MS in Civil Ocean Engineering, a PhD in Civil Structural engineering from UC Berkeley, and a MPP from Harvard University.
Sr. Subject Matter Expert
Kamran Nemati teaches Construction, Geotechnical, and Transportation Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Construction Materials from UC Berkeley and practices teaching and research in materials science, transportation systems, and other areas. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in multiple states, and bridges between academia and industry practice. Kamran joined IS-CEM in 2026.
Sr. Subject Matter Expert
Michel Jamjian's expertise is in finite elements with over 30 years in simulation, dynamics, material modeling, and failure analysis. He develops innovative computational methods and adapts solutions from research into industry applications and solves challenges to achieve high-accuracy optimization and performance evaluation. He holds a PhD in Computational Mechanics from UC Berkeley. As quadrilingual, he brings a global cultural perspective. M. Jamjian joined IS-CEM in 2025.

Paul brings over 35 years of expertise in information technology solutions with a strong background in enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution development ranging from business requirements to design and implementation. Paul is a former Sr. Director at Cap Gemini technology division, holds an MBA from Clark University, and has executed ERP projects in the US and the Middle East. Paul joined IS-CEM as an IT expert in 2011.
